Currently, the library is open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9am to 1pm and Sunday from noon until 5pm.

The Catalyst Lending Library serves as a local source for radical literature. Member may borrow from a copious smorgasbord of books, films, independently published materials, and Arizona's largest 'zine archive. The collection focuses on featuring publications with free-thinking, revolutionary, and subversive themes, especially those which are difficult to find in conventional libraries. The Catalyst library is also unique because the privacy of members is protected as obstinately as possible by minimizing paper trail and stored information.

Library memberships are absolutely free!

Of course, donations are always greatly appreciated. The money creates a fund for upkeep and equipment, material losses, new material, library programming, building utilities, tea, and vegan butter for the toast you are encouraged to eat while you hang out and read.

Currently, volunteers are needed to act as librarians to hold open hours so the library is available to the community. Come by and ask a current volunteer to train you if you're interested!
