Food Not Bombs is a global, all-volunteer powered movement in which people come together to prepare, share, eat, and clean up after a nutritious banquet made from donated food without the use of animal products. The meal is shared with the public in the spirit that every person deserves access to free, nourishing food. It's absurd that there is so much wasted food in our community and that people still go hungry. Healthy communities are created out of folks taking care of each other. Your presence and help are strongly encouraged!
Food donations are always appreciated. Food Not Bombs usually has particular needs for cooking oils, salad dressings, dried grains and beans, condiments, herbs and spices, sauces, fresh veggies, and money for water and gas bills. Donations may be dropped off on the front bench at The Catalyst: 207 Spring st.
Fridays and Sundays
- Cook at The Catalyst at 12:00 pm
- Share at the Courthouse square (cross streets of Montezuma and Gurley) at 3:00 pm
